Atlantide Dance Company was founded in early 2016 in Rome under the direction of Diletta Brancatelli. Her formation, contemporary mold, is the result of a thorough study of the Theater Dance and the therewith connected techniques. More so her own style in which dance meets the endless possibilities of expression, based on a careful and meticulous research of the gesture, enhancing it and amplifying it. Essential work on improvisation and interaction of bodies, bearing structures of the creative process along with the music that is selected and chosen with scrupulous sensitivity, so that each element takes on a specific meaning. She studies in Italy and abroad, and follows regular workshops of renowned choreographers as Hofesh Shechter and Idan Sharabi, conscious of the fact that an artist needs first of all to be contaminated, stimulated and inspired by the landscape around him. The Dance Theater pervades, improvised parts are mixed with precise choreographic sequences. The intention is the purpose: to seek the abandonment, the clarity of the gesture, the primordial meaning that instinct has brought to light, and direct it to an end, projecting it on the dynamics arising from their stream of consciousness. Atlantide is born, prosperous abyss city: you have to go deeper, and also risk of sinking, losing accumulated wealth, order access into a type of true knowledge, that talks about real things that transform the feelings into reality and beauty. At the moment she works closely with seven dancers investigating with lively curiosity the endless facets of the human soul. For this there are more assets choreographic projects.

The first to be concluded, after seven months of work is Queenquiet, an ironic show, edgy and flavor pop, which debuted in October 2016 at the Teatro Greco in Rome (selected for the XIX exhibition "Che Danza Vuoi?). In 2017 the company release two more projects: Egotica, composed by seven solo shows, and Menu, in collaboration with Andrea Pizzari, focused on the issue of money, the power it held over humanity. In 2018 Altamarea, an introspective reflection based on the meaning of the five elements.

Alantide Dance Company becomes a space where different human experiences cohabit to give life to a real choreographic continent.
